Cthulhu Christmas Cards

Created by Auroch Digital

As the evenings draw in and the seasons turn towards the end of the year, looming on the horizon is the ghost of Christmas future. We thought that this year we’d like to send an assortment of Mythos themed Christmas Cards to the special (and not so special) people in our lives. Then we thought; let’s print them up and let others send these blasphemous greetings, too. Then we remembered we live in a market-based economy and we need a bunch of monies to do just that. Then we thought; hey we found a bunch of like-minded crazy-but-fun peoples on the Internets last year – let ask them if they want to go in and help us print off these amazing designs!

Latest Updates from Our Project:

Are you in the 3%? A Puzzle Wrapped in a Riddle
about 6 years ago – Tue, Feb 13, 2018 at 02:51:56 PM

Hello fellow cultists.

I've just emailed out the secret prize to 7 of the clever people. That means about 3% of you have found the time to crack the code. If you feel you still want to take a bash at it - please do! As I'd like to share the solution with you all. However when I do, I really need to close the door on any new prizes. Sooooo if you think you should get the secret prize and know how to crack it, if if you've not quite got there, do message me and I'll see if you get close enough to win! (You've paid to have puzzle-fun after all!)

Else I'll reveal the solution at the end of this month.

Good luck!

Tomas

PS. Thanks to those of you who backed our new Mythos themed project - Achtung! Cthulhu Tactics. We've successfully funded now and are this close [gestures with fingers to show a small gap, ovs] to breaking the first stretch goal. We've unlocked some new support tier, including Introductory One and Two Player Starter Sets (which are a total B-A-R-G-A-I-Ns) so put on your best Nazi-Monster huntin' hat and come on over!

Extending the Deadline another few days...AND BIG NEWS TOO!
about 6 years ago – Wed, Feb 07, 2018 at 11:06:53 AM

So thanks for the response to the reminder you'd got a mystery to solve in the hidden code of the cards Some of you clever cultists cracked the code. You prize will be emailed out post-deadline! So we have been emailed to ask if we can give more time, so new deadline is now.... 13th Feb. One day before valentines. Cthulhu is for lovers.

Oh and BIG NEWS in the Mythos Realms as we have a NEW PROJECT in development...

We thought you might also be interesting in our amazing looking project - Achtung! Cthulhu Tactics. It’s a clever mashup of WW2 and the Cthulhu Mythos. The original Achtung! Cthulhu pen-and-paper role-playing game smashed its goals on Kickstarter five years ago. It’s now back, bigger and more exciting than ever, and it’s going digital! Achtung! Cthulhu Tactics is a turn-based strategy RPG where the player fights a desperate battle in the shadows of World War II against the Nazis and their inhuman ailles. The developers are looking for some extra support to add the Pathfinder Demon Hunter warriors into the game - and your support buys war bonds, guns, ammo, and spiritual warfare to fight the good fight! Check out the project here.

Did you solve the mystery?

Xmas Update!
over 6 years ago – Mon, Dec 11, 2017 at 09:14:50 AM

Hello everyone, and a very merry Christmas to you all!

You should by now be receiving your Cthulhu Christmas cards, stickers, prints and mugs. If you haven't received them yet, rest easy. Everything has been sent out, and your goods will be with you soon...

In the meantime, we'd like to ask a favour of you. We know it's that time of the year where everything slows down and all you want to do is eat mince pies, drink good wine and conduct the odd sacrifice to great Cthulhu himself. However, we'll have plenty of amazing new projects coming to Kickstarter over the coming year, and we want you to join us. By following us, you'll be kept bang up-to-date with all of our projects, and it only takes a minute! :)

 - Log into Kickstarter
- Click on your avatar in the top-right corner of the screen. Y'know, the one that looks like you.
- Under 'My Stuff', you should see the option 'Follow Creators'. Click this, obvs.

 - This will show you a list of all the creators that you've backed. (Ignore all those other creators whose projects you've backed in the past. We see how it is...)
- Have a little scrolly-scroll until you find our pretty 'face'.

- Hit that follow button, and join the holy cult of Auroch Digital.
- Let us shower you with amazing projects.
- Win.

If the Cthulhu Christmas Card project was the first that you've seen from us, it's worth mentioning that we ran a successful Kickstarter around a year ago for an election-themed card game called 'Elections of US America Election: The Card Game' (yes, that really was the title!) It's a fun, satirical game based on the ludicracy of the US political system, and features both real-life candidates, as well as Cthulhu, Nyarlathotep and others. After all, why vote for the lesser evil, when you can vote for the greatest evil of all?

It's available on Backerkit now along with a few other Christmas treats, so check it out while you can!

Eldritch Chaos Cometh! An Update....
over 6 years ago – Tue, Nov 21, 2017 at 12:03:04 AM

Just to update you all. Over last couple of days our office has become a packing and posting production line of organised chaos! Here's how it looks....

The first batch of cards has already gone out - more are following today, tomorrow and onwards until it's done! Note that we're focused on getting the cards to you first. So you may not get your A4 prints, stickers and mugs in same package as the cards. if so don't panic: We know and are getting those out as they arrive from the printers too. What we don't want to do is wait on getting cards out for other things to arrive...

A tiny number of you have not completed the BackerKit surveys - please do asap! As ever thanks for your support and any questions, do just ask!

Thanks Tomas, Nina and rest of the eldritch elves packing presents...
