Four Voorish Signs,
Three Ulthar Cats,
Two Tindalos Hounds,
And Yog-Sothoth in a Pear Tree.
Ye gods and monsters! We've passed the first unholy stretch goal and all you cultists shall have stickers! Hurrah the great old ones and all that... All backers getting postal rewards get some free stickers. If you'd like an extra load of them them you can also boost your pledge level to get some more - check the rewards to see how!
Great that we've met this goal however be warned - no more we beseech you, this is the path to madness henceforth...
Now, of timelines and tentacles is what we shall now speak… We’ll confess here, we’re the first to go bah humbug at Christmas things outside of December. However to get the cards to you in time for December we’ve got to start now. So sorry about that! We’re part way through campaign now. The campaign will end mid November. We can then collect all your shiny doubloons and spend them on printing the cards off (and blasphemous rites, ovs). We’re aiming to get those to you towards the end of November (post willing). We’re printing them here in England, not too far away, so we don’t have any huge wait for them to be done. Note that we’ve planned the project so we’ve got enough time to post them all the way to New Zealand (hello Hobbits!) hence we’re happy to supply to anywhere!

Hello again fellow cultists. (We know technically this is the 4th, but hey!) Now the stars are right and we’ve smashed the 100% mark it is time to unveil the stretch goals. Having sacrificed a goat born in the sign of Capricorn and used our forbidden scrying disk we have been able to pierce the veil that hides them and the full horror of our plans be revealed…
If we get to 150% (so £3000) then you shall all be blessed with present stickers! Yes all backers getting cards will get a few free present stickers that you can, well, stick, onto gifts for your loved ones and then scribe in their name and all that. We shall also open a tier allowing additions of many more of these tokens of oblivion.
At 175% (so £3500) we shall unlock A4 print tiers of our blasphemous designs. These are high quality prints of the card designs to replace all your family photos with…
At 200% (so £4000) cometh the mugs. Yes you can add to your loot haul a new tier featuring a mug with a seasonal mythos design. Makes a great gift and reminder the owner of how fast life runs through our clawed fingertips with each sip of coffee…
At 250% (so £5000) we shall utter nameless rites and summon the Christmas Card of the Yellow King. This design is so terrible, so mind-shattering we’ve all only been able to work on small parts of it at once. One of the team saw two parts of the design and needed three days in a sanatorium to recuperate. We beg you, do not make us complete it or we shall be undone…

With great fanfare and many archaic adjectives we shall soon be announcing stretch goals, so keep spreading the word, fellow cultists, as the sliver key unlocks more madness...

Welcome to our second update! We’ve been asked for more information about the hidden puzzle in each box. Well, gather round Cthulhu-lings and I’ll share the tale of how this came to be…. Each card has some letters inside written in a forbidden text. Translate them by candlelight then assemble all the letters into a order that works.Assuming you’re still sane at that point the meaning will become clear, as will your opportunity for a forbidden prize as a reward for translating it. If you want to practice in advance of the real things, try here ;)

Wow! What a first day! We're zeroing in on 50% of the goal and we've only just passed day one - so a huge thanks you and fhtagn to you all!
Some news to share; first is we've added an FAQ. Any questions you want answered there, let us know and we can answer!
Second is, given we're well on track for success, is what are thoughts of stretch goals? Well, dear cultist, we have many, many ideas... however we want to get to 100% to start to share them. PS. Did you know Lovecraft wrote Christmas poetry? Given themes of his better known work, it is somewhat of a surprise to find that he wrote this little ditty;
“The cottage hearth beams warm and bright,
The candles gaily glow; The stars emit a kinder light Above the drifted snow.
Down from the sky a magic steals To glad the passing year,
And belfries sing with joyous peals,
For Christmastide is here!”
